Perennial Pasture Project

Our project "Best land use for long term sustainability on vulnerable northern wheatbelt yellow sands" is funded through the Northern Agricultural Catchments Council, and aims to tie in best practice management and production goals together. Planting perennial grasses on vulnerable soils has been an extremely successful trial in not only increasing nutrition, growth and value of sheep, but also improving the conservation and value of our land.
